Surrounded by family members, friends, employees and members of the Restigouche business community, president of Atelier G?rard Beaulieu, Marc Beaulieu, son of G?rard Beaulieu who?s name the company bears, said he was very pleased with the enthusiasm surrounding the inauguration: "It's really touching to see the support that our company receives from our family and the community at large."
A tribute was presented to members of G?rard Beaulieu?s family, as well as past and present shareholders for their dedication, tenacity and ambition over the years, and their contribution to the development and growth of the company.
The company began in 1912 when G?rard?s father, Mo?se Beaulieu, traveled to the new community of Saint-Quentin to settle there as a blacksmith and wheelwright. To this day, the company still works at the very same location as a manufacturer of various steel products.
Marc Beaulieu gave his vision to the people gathered: "We are still growing, with many challenges yet to overcome, so support from the community and our families remains essential to our development. We will continue to work hard on our journey to become a company offering internationally recognized products. "
Atelier G?rard Beaulieu inc. (d.b.a. AGB) is a company involved in the conception, design and manufacture of steel products such as: Guardian Tanks and Guardian Trailers (offering fuel transportation and fuel storage solutions), Blacksmiths containers for commercial and industrial waste and most recently, the addition of ACM concrete mixers.
